David Lee Rosling
January 26, 1951 - February 18, 2015
David Lee Rosling, 64, of Caldwell, died February 18, 2015 at a Burley, Idaho care facility surrounded by family. David was in 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. David had a great love for the outdoors including flying, parachuting, hunting, golfing, horseback riding and building bird houses. David loved to write stories and poems. During his younger years in the Bahamas he was a golden-glove boxer; winning his final match with a broken hand.
David was born January 26, 1951 to Arnold & Rose Rosling in Mandan, North Dakota. David is survived by 3 children, Jennifer, Jared, and Jonathan. Eight grandchildren: Aliyah, Elisa, Aryana, Jonathan, Connor, Jayce, Brandonn and Dawson. David is also survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters Arnold and Debbie Rosling (Tonya, Donald, & Tiffany), Richard Rosling (Sarah & Rebekah), Carol & Mel Foster (Tracey, Greg, Doug), Susan & Richard Gollobit (Lisa & Jacob) and several great-nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Rose Rosling and nephew Daniel Rosling.
David wanted everyone to know, "He Lived, He Loved, He Died"
David has been cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Idaho. Condolences can be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
