Our condolences to Tony, Greg, and the entire family on Divola's passing. She was a wonderful and caring person.
I first met Divola when we hired her to work in the EPA Alaska Operations Office in the early `70s. She was a wonderful person and friend, and a great asset to our programs. When we had deadlines to meet, she was always willing to spend the extra time to get the job completed.
She moved to Boise with her two young sons, Tony & Greg when her husband Jim retired from the Air Force in 1973. She played a key role in establishing and maintaining our fledgling EPA Idaho Operations Office and remained so until her retirement. Her role was clerical in the beginning and later an Administrative Assistant. She was always kind and helpful and if I ever wanted to know the real story behind the scenes, I would talk to Divola.
