George and I were in the Marine Corps. We remained friend all these years.
We went to Normandy and took the river cruise to Paris. Ann and I went on the white-water rafting trip on the Salmon River. We have visited in each other's homes. He and Donna visited us in Florida and we took an airboat ride and saw alligators and water birds. We enjoyed being with George and Donna and we miss them.

So saddened to hear this news. George, you were a great business associate, hunting partner and, with Donna, dear friends to both Val and me. I have known very few men as generous, kind and genuine. A man to be trusted, with perhaps the exception of that ride up the Kleinschmidt. You will be missed and forever remembered.
