Jerome G. "Jerry" Baaske

1948 - 2023

Nampa - Jerome G. Baaske, affectionately known as Jerry, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on September 18, 2023, in Nampa, Idaho. Born on December 13, 1948, in Illinois, Jerry lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity.



Jerry was a proud Marine veteran who served his country valiantly in Vietnam. After his military service, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career as a truck driver in Albany, Oregon, for over 30 years. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his family and friends.



Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Pam, his devoted daughter, Amy, and his cherished grandson, Matthew. He also leaves behind his sisters, Barb, Patty, and Wendy, who will remember him fondly for his humor and kindness. Jerry's family was his pride and joy, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them.



A man of many interests, Jerry was an avid collector of Coca Cola and Pepsi memorabilia, and he took great pride in his extensive collection of Corvette model cars. His love for these collectibles was only matched by his passion for playing card games. Jerry was the life of every family gathering and friends' meet-up.



Jerry was best described as generous, funny, and friendly. He had a knack for making people feel welcome and valued. His sense of humor was one of the many qualities that made him so beloved by all who knew him.



Jerry's life was a testament to his strong character and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Jerry.
