Joy and Charlie worked in Garden Valley for many years at Project Patch. They were also faithful members at Grace Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend. Both were very dedicated to their students, devoted to their dogs, and faithful servants in their church and community. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.

Joy and I were the less talented musicians when we worked at camp way back in the day. We were good enough for each other and loved to claim the verse about God's only requirement is that it be joyful. Joy(ful) did indeed bring much joy to my life and I am sorry the connection had drifted for so many years. You will be missed my friend.
