On January 3, 2021 we lost our beloved sister and aunt Juana Alejandra Ortiz-Leos. Juana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Juana was born on July 17, 1964 to Vidal Ortiz Martinez (+) and Elida Leos de Ortiz (+) in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Juana was raised in Idaho where she lived most of her life. Juana's greatest love and joy was being a second mom to all of her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, including great nieces and nephews. Next to loving her family Juana's other love was her job. She worked at Terry Reilly Health Services for over thirty years. Up until the very last days she was working. There wasn't any complicated task that she could not conquer.
Surviving Juana are her sister, Dora Elvia, Maria Isabel (Joaquin) and Victoria Leigh. Brothers Vidal Guadalupe (Yvonne), Victor Hugo (Phaedra) and Armando (Isabel). Nieces and nephew Dora Esmeralda, Juan Daniel, Maria Elida, Jose Jesus, Yvonne Isela, Xavier Vidal, Armando Adrian, Maryssa Alexandra, Amanda Adrianna, Emilie Elizabeth and Isabella Elida. Also, great-nieces and nephews Constantine Meliton, Yamilet Mia, Damian, and Sophia Victoria. Juana is preceded in death by Dad (Vidal) and Mom (Elida) and two infant brothers.

A viewing for friends and family will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.
