I knew ken & enjoyed him immensely, we had drinks together, we hunted together & shared more than one great outdoor adventure story. I will miss ken terribly & know he is in a much better place today.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Ken's family. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Ken personally, but i felt i did. My husband Hal Branin called him Kenny. My husband highly respected Kenny. I know they worked together or around together for many many years, i think since the '80's?. Hal shared Kenny Blume stories about Kenny and himself all the time, to me and to our family, for many years. Great stories. Priceless stories, funny funny stories. Two great guys. Two great hard workers. Two professional guys.
I had to write to you, because Kenny was at my husbands funeral, I lost my husband, love of my life, Hal Branin, April 8, 2011. And Hal respected Kenny and his professional work and longtime friendship.
I miss my Hal. I know Hal and Kenny are reunited again, making more funny stories. Difficult now, but I hope a little comforting for you, as it is for me, that they are together again, having a lot of laughs. If we are real quiet, we might hear them laughing. Bless you.
I know Hal is wanting me to let you, the family, to know that I am here on behalf of my husband, Hal Branin to honor his very good friend, Kenny Blume. He said Kenny's name in our home every week.
Rest now Kenny, rest in peace.
