Linda Lee Elder
Linda Lee Elder Linda Lee Elder passed away peacefully at home on February 11th from pancreatic cancer. She was born on Sept. 21, 1949 in Longview, Wash., and attended grade schools and high schools in Washington and Oregon. She was living and working in Portland Ore. when she married Don Elder in October 1973. They moved to Boise in 1977, eventually starting Reel Foods Fish Market in 1981 and then also Reel Foods Seafoods Eatery. She was extremely dedicated to working towards the success of both businesses and will be definitely missed, not only by her family, but by co-workers and customers. When not at work, she spent many enjoyable hours improving and decorating her home. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia Harris. Linda is survived by her husband Don, son Jason of Boise, daughter Jenny of Las Vegas, sister Kate of Portland, Ore., and brother Dave of Kennewick, Wash. No public services will be held. The family will have a private memorial service for Linda at the Oregon coast this summer. We are deeply appreciative of the outpouring of support and sympathy from friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family during our time of mourning. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to the American Cancer Society.
