Yesterday

My sincere condolences to the Park family with the loss of Mr. Park. I too worked for First Security Bank (Emmett) and knew of and respected him. I even had the pleasure of working with Debbie during her time in our branch.

I remember Mr Park from old days at First Security Bank. He was very matter of fact doing business but also fair. He chewed me out one visit very professionally and I deserved it. He didn´t denigrate me as a person. He just wanted better Judgement on my part. RIP

To the extended Park family, we send our condolences. We appreciate all the love and attention Lonnie gave us as we engaged with the family and enjoyed precious time in McCall at the cabin. We loved always hearing about the cutting board, and sometimes getting calls on how to nail a particular recipe. For an Idaho fan, he was also very kind to us Washington alumni. We look forward to some storytelling and reminiscing in the future of how Lonnie touched all of our lives.

Had the distinct honor to play a couple rounds of golf with him and enjoyed the round not because of golf but the joy of talking with an incredible man who brought joy and happiness to so many! He truly was a man that all looked up to and was an honor to be around! Rest in peace Lonnie and your family will revel in your spirit and kind heart!

Dear Annette, my sister Penny Rice told me today of Lonnie's passing. He was a terrific man and Boise was lucky to have him serve the community. Glen and I are living in Italy so I won't be there to give you a hug. Know we are thinking and praying for you and your family. Love, Peg and Glen Hickey

I found Lonnie to be a gentle but strong individual who clearly cared deeply for those around him. We only knew him for a short period of time, linked through our common love of dogs, but he was clearly a natural athlete, even in his advanced years. I feel honoured to have known him and wished I could´ve seen him one more time. Stacey Dewhurst

As a Banker who has spent his career in Boise- Lonnie was someone we all looked up to on how he represented the banking industry and carried himself with all of his community activities. The term for such a person? He was a Class Act!! Rest in Peace Lonnie, a life well lived.
