Lorna Ponce Obituary

Lorna Jean "Granny" Ponce
September 8, 1932 - January 25, 2018
Our mother, Lorna Jean Ponce, passed away from us on January 25th surrounded by family and friends at the West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell. She was a spirited, feisty, and beautiful woman with a great big loving heart.
She was born to Eva and George Ellison in Boise, Idaho September 8th 1932, the youngest of eight children.
She is survived by her two children, Norma (Ferrin) Harland and Afton Charlesworth, both of Caldwell. Also many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very deeply.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and two grandchildren, Tadd Portenier and Jeremiah Charlesworth.
A celebration of her life will be held, Monday, February 5th 2018, at the Caldwell Senior Citizen Center, 1009 Everett Street, from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and other staff from the West Valley Medical Center, St. Alphonsus Hospital Group, and Canyon West of Arcadia, for their loving care they gave our mother.
