Caldwell - Louise Eileen Baer Jackson, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 89, in Caldwell, Idaho. Born in 1936, in Meridian, Idaho, Louise's life was marked by her unwavering kindness and zest for life that endeared her to all who knew her.
Louise was the beloved wife of Norman Jackson, who predeceased her, and a dedicated mother to her sons, Larry Jackson, his wife Toni and Timothy Jackson, his wife Tina, grandmother to their children Sarah, Brandon, Heather, Tabbatha, Hillary, Glen and Brianna and great-grandmother to 7 1/2 great grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Jim Baer, his wife Lori and Ila Mae Marshall, who predeceased her. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.
Louise met Norman when he was in the service at Mountain Home Air Force Base. After there children were born they moved to California for a short time and then relocated to Virgina to be close to family. Once their son's were grown they moved back to Louise's home, Idaho. She worked as an accountant for more than two decades with Winco, formerly known as Waremart. Louise made many life long friends during her tenure that continued well into retirement.
Those who knew Louise would invariably describe her as kind, cheerful and full of life. These words, though simple, capture the essence of a woman who was all of those things and more. Louise and Norman, along with many of their friends, enjoyed frequent trips in their RV. The were fortunate enough to travel through Baja Mexico RV caravan style, experience many mule festivals, camping trips with family, but mostly driving cross country to experience all they could. Louise didn't enjoy anything more than being with her the youngest, great grandbabies of which there are four under the age of three.
As we say goodbye to Louise Eileen Baer Jackson, we celebrate a life that was lived with purpose and zest. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and the legacy of her love will endure in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, the impact of her kindness and the memory of her gentle soul will remain with us always.
