May 27, 1913 - November 3, 2015
May Bentley went to her heavenly home on November 3, 2015 in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 102.
She was born May 27, 1913 in Greenacres, Washington to Amos and Jenni Helmick and moved with her family to Emmett when she was young. She grew up in Emmett and met Raymond N. Bentley. They were married in June of 1933 in Decatur, Illinois.
She and Raymond had two sons, Ronald and Larry. As they were growing up she went back to school and became an LPN, and worked as a nurse much of her adult life in both Idaho and Washington.
May was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters, her husband and both sons. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her name to a favorite charity.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th at the Emmett Cemetery, in Emmett, Idaho, under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
A reception will follow the services at the home of her nephew, Dale Bentley, 5390 N McDermott Road in Meridian.
