Ruth Elnora Drees, 88 of Homedale, died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Viewing will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. today, July 21, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Middleton Cemetery, Middleton. Ruth was born Nov. 12, 1920, at Brunstad, North Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Christina Lang. She was raised and educated in North Dakota and Marsing, Idaho.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Jeanette Drees; four grandchildren, Ryckie Drees, James Drees, Ike Drees and Shannon (Boe) Jares; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Zoey and Fiona; a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Pete Uberuaga; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ervin Drees; her son, Ivan Drees; and sister, Pauline Wise.
We loved our mother, grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by all.
