I worked with Jean at the horse races for many, many years. She was a very dedicated employee and friend to co-workers and customers alike. She had a wicked, dry sense of humor--she always made me laugh! I met her after she had met Gus--and she always talked about how happy she was with him. It was very, very difficult for her when he passed away. I hope she's in heaven with some of her friends from the track and Gus. She was a beautiful, classy lady--and a lot of fun to be around. RIP Jean....
My sincere condolences to all her surviving family and friends.

Mom (Charlotte Clever) and I worked with Jean many years at the horse races; both Gem County, Emmett and Les Bois Park, Boise. We also worked many years together at the Western Idaho State Fair for Sioux Wieckowicz in the money room. We shared many stories and laughter. One of them being the time I sent Jean and Judy Lockwood to get free corn from one of the booths. We had some good times. My mother passed June 10, 2020 and I am sure she welcomed Jean to heaven June 10, 2021.
My condolences to Jean’s family at this difficult time.

Jean was my grandma and a great grandma to my son Josh she impacted us in a huge way. She always told it like it was. She didn't use a lot of words to express how she felt just directly to the point. She was very intelligent and beautiful. And we loved her so much. She was always excited to see us and sad to see us go. For all of us grandkids she did not have favorites she loved us all equally. And her sense of humor is what I'm going to miss the most. I love you Grandma
