Bobby Smith 
POCATELLO - Bobby Byrne "B.B." Smith, 85, Pocatello, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Portneuf Medical Center.
He was born August 11, 1927, at Byrne, Idaho, to Charles and Audrey Smith.  He married Patricia Jean Graham, August 1, 1951, at Idaho Falls. She preceded him in death, August 10, 1993.
He served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1947, a veteran of the Japanese occupation and served in Korea. He received the Word War II Victory medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. 
He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 44 years as a brakeman/conductor, retiring in 1991. He was a longtime resident of Pocatello who enjoyed fishing and sharing time with his family. Grocery shopping was always a favorite pastime.
He is survived by a son, Rick (Pam) Ellis; a daughter, Bobette "Mike" Heath; a son, Patrick (Corrina) Smith; and brothers, Ted and Bill. His grandchildren were always a special joy and include: Travis and Heather Ellis, Michele Walker, Misty Thomsen, Shannon Robinson, Kelby and Brandon Smith and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, and brothers, Todd and Paul.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Cornelison Funeral Chapel, 431 North 15th Ave., Pocatello. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello.

I have many fond memories working with Bobby on the railroad. I consider Bobby a good friend and will miss him very much. Our condolences to Bobby's Family.
