Danny Kiggins Obituary
Born: 12/18/1942, Provo, UT; Died: 10/27/2025, Pocatello, ID
Danny married his high school sweetheart, D. Rae Crane, on August 4th, 1962, and they made a home in Pocatello where they lived most of their married lives.
Danny is preceded in death by his Father: Theodore 'Ted' Roosevelt Kiggins Mother: Lucille Estelle (Clezie) Kiggins
He is survived by his wife, Rae; son, LTC, Retired Richard Dean Kiggins (Bridget); daughter, Christina Rae Foulkrod (Larry); grandchildren, Joshua Michael-Brooks Kiggins, Ashton Nichelle Kiggins (Christine Link Sahlus), Derek Lawrence Foulkrod, and Reece Christopher Foulkrod. His siblings: Teddy L. Kiggins, Rusty L. Kiggins, Dusty L. Kiggins, Theresa Walters, and Geneva Kiggins.
Danny served as a Fireman in the United States Navy from 1961-1962. After returning home, he earned his Journeyman Plaster Status in 1967 and joined the Operative Plasters' and Cement Masons' Local 501. Danny enjoyed the craftsmanship of this trade for 40 years. After retiring from the trade, he earned a Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Idaho State University in 1993.
Danny was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching them succeed. This is evidenced in the number of greeting cards he saved (all of them) and the laminated newspaper articles stashed in every corner of the house.
He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, watching his children and grandchildren compete in the different activities they participated in. Later in life, he began showing American Quarter Horses in the local AQHA shows.
A private family celebration will be held in December 2025.

This is Mary Lou and Porter Sutton. I was his dentist for years, and he actually did some work for us in our basement and he let our kids help and he was so kind and thoughtful, our kids still remember him. We loved his gracious manner. Our prayers are with you all.
