I really admired Duane. I was a senior on the Poky tennis team the first year he became our coach. He didn´t know much about tennis at that time but gave it his all. I met the girl who would become my wife on the last State tennis tournament of my high school career and he was there to witness it all. He was also my French teacher. He was a real decent man. About ten years ago we ran into him in Bangkok at a restaurant and I was blown away that fate had brought us together. He said it was a good thing that I was with my wife still and not some other woman. I will miss him dearly. Many fond memories of how decent he was. God bless him and all of his family.

I was saddened to hear of Duane´s passing. He was a close friend of my mom and I´ve known him since my early childhood days as a tennis player. What a lovely man! He was always cheerful and kind, funny and goofy, and pleasant to be around. That´s how I remember him ~ and I feel grateful to have known him. My heart goes out to his children and all who loved him.

My husband, Jim, and Duane taught together at Pocatello High School for many years. Even though very different, they became fast friends. Our family enjoyed his continuing friendship over the years. It was a pleasure to know him. Blessings to your family. Mary Jo, Emily, and Mattie Mulick

We are so saddened to hear of Duane´s passing. We were fortunate to see him last summer in Sun Valley and he wasn´t feeling well but of course wanted to know how Cory and Annie were. He will be missed by so many, Matthew and Melissa but take comfort in knowing how many people he had a positive influence on.
