Grew up in Pocatello, Idaho with Brent. We played Baseball and Football together through our teen years. Including high school sports as well as American Legion Baseball. Brent was always a calm and gentle kind type of individual. Brent will be missed by many of us that knew him over the years. my best wishes to his family and friends

Kind of a shock seeing Brents passing but at our age you never know. I remember what super athlete he was at Poky and an even better person as was his brothers and parents who grew up next door to my wife Sheri Wilson-who we lost in 2022. we got to be better friends over the years skiing and attending ISU events. I even went to work for him at Idaho Realty. Reach out to your friends while you have the chance-life is precious and short. LOL and condolense to his family!

Also, when in my youth, Dubby and Jackie Holt lived a block away from my home. They would have me for lunch on numerous days. Their admiration for Brent was noted as I discussed his kindness and athletic ability. He was truly admired by the ones who so knew him.

Not enough words to express what a good person to family, friends and teammates were to Brent. Will never forget watching him play baseball at Halliwell park. He was so gifted at knocking the ball out of the park. His Mom and Dad were so proud of his skills and his focus on being a good person. My little league coaches, Bill Bartz, and Babe Caccia respected him also. Bill Bartz would pick me up for practice and take me to the football, basketball, and baseball games at ISU. Babe was my first coach in little league and my last coach at ISU baseball. Brent was a frequent topic of respect and admiration. After Basic Training in the Air Force, and Tech Training, I was assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After joining a fast pitch traveling team, I went to K-Mart in Grand Forks to get a baseball mitt. Behold, I saw Brent in the store and could not believe my eyes. He had been hired by American Potato in Grand Forks as a manager. He told me to come to dinner on the weekend when I could get away. It was a reunion with him and my cousin Julie Nugent Heberlein (His wife). Always loved her and Brent. Upon departure, Brent gave me a mitt to play fastpitch. He bought it at Sherwood's sports store in Pocatello. He was generous, kind, and loved life. After being on leave and having to get back to Grand Forks, and having a layover in Denver, I ran into Babe Caccia. Babe was headed to Houston to look at the Astrodome in Houston to study the turf and the indoor arena. The plan was to get an indoor dome built at a smaller level. I told Babe what Brent did by giving me friendship and support. Babe's words were--"That was Brent". The sadness and missing is ever so much with Brent's passing. His life was a reward and inspiration to all of those who shared life with him and who so knew him.
