Jeanne Beebe Obituary
Jeanne grew up with her family in Idaho Falls and Duboise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT. She attended/graduated from West High School.
On January 6, 1964 Jeanne married Edwin James Beebe. Edwin passed away on September 25, 2023 after nearly sixty years of marriage.
Jeanne had many different types of employment throughout her life including working for School District 25, Challenge and Prudential Insurance. Jeanne finally found her passion at Pathfinders Pilot Service. The job allowed her to travel all over the country and Jeanne obtained ownership of Pathfinders in 1983. After many years of success, Jeanne sold the business and created her new business, E.J. Beebe Pilots. Jeanne finally retired in 2022.
Jeanne had many hobbies. She was a member of many clubs and organizations including a lifetime member of the Pocatello Field Archers, the NRA and the Idaho State and Pocatello Trailmachine Associations. Jeanne loved to travel. She had visited nearly all fifty states and traveled abroad extensively to places like South Africa, Australia, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Jeanne is survived by her brother, Dennis Johnston, her children, Dan Beebe, Micheal Beebe, Jay Beebe, Rose Black and Rick Beebe. She was also grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Arthur Johnston and Norman Johnston.
The Celebration of Life for Jeanne will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 in the upstairs banquet hall of the Elks Lodge located at 410 S. Main Street in Pocatello, ID. The celebration will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Food will be served.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
