John Adams Obituary

John R. Adams Sr.
ST. ANTHONY - John R. Adams Sr., of St. Anthony, Idaho, died peacefully with his family by his side on January 24, 2010. 
He was born in International Falls, Minnesota. He graduated high school and joined the military on November 8, 1967, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on December 29, 1973. John returned to the states and lived a fulfilling life with family and friends.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
John is survived by his son, John R. Jr. (Casie) Adams, Chubbuck; daughter, Jackie L. (Darren) Brower, Chubbuck; three granddaughters, Ashley L. Brower, Kortney N. Brower and Kaelyn J. Adams, all of Chubbuck; one grandson, Rylan John Adams, Chubbuck; stepson, Terry V. Adams, California; mother, Alice Joyce Adams, South Dakota; sisters, Geri Adams McCleary, South Dakota, Mary Adams Loraas, Minnesota, and Katie Adams Coss, Minnesota; ex-spouse, Lynda England, Chubbuck. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ivan Adams and two brothers, Raymond and Patrick Adams.
A memorial service will be held for John at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com.
