Linda Hardy Obituary

Linda Suzann "Suzi" Hardy
Linda Suzann "Suzi" Hardy, 61, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born on December 3, 1956, in Ephrata, Washington, to Kay and LaVae West. She lived in Prosser and Grandview, Washington and graduated from Grandview High School in 1975.
Suzi was sealed to her best friend, Michael Hardy, on October 8, 1976, in the Manti Utah Temple and had five children; Sarah, Erin, Jeigh, Michael and Jennifer. Suzi's biggest joy was in raising her children and building a strong family. She filled her life with service and made everyone feel welcome and valued. After her children were grown, she enrolled at ISU. Despite a cancer diagnosis and multiple surgeries and treatments, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Counseling. She graduated magna cum laude.
Suzi worked for LDS Family Services and Pacific Rim Counseling, making many friends and changing countless lives. She loved people; she loved the Lord and through her love drew others closer to Him.
She grew a glorious garden every summer and her canned peaches were one of her greatest assets. She enjoyed creating in many ways including writing and capturing meaningful moments through her photography. Her favorite food was toast.
Suzi is survived by her husband, Mike Hardy; children, Sarah Hardy, Erin (Kerry) Grant, Jeigh (Rex) Meredith, Michael (Luanne) Hardy; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer; and her parents, Emma LaVae Leishman and Kay Leroy West.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11 am at the LDS Gwen Chapel, 1433 Gwen Dr. Pocatello, ID 83204. Family will receive friends from 9:30-11 am prior to the services at the church.
