Loa Mae Frazier
LIMA, Mont. - Loa Mae Frazier, 68, beloved wife and mother, left this earth surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 22, 2007, suddenly from an unexpected illness.
Loa was born September 30, 1938, in American Falls, Idaho, to Thelma and Ralph Kelly. She was the youngest of four children. Loa loved her family. She married Lyle Duane Frazier on July 7, 1972, in Pocatello, Idaho.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with her husband and her dogs or her "kids" as she liked to call them. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, making earrings and playing games. Loa was known by her family and friends for her kind and caring ways, her unconditional love and her contagious laugh. She was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Loa is survived by her husband, Lyle Duane Frazier of Lima, Montana, her six children; Debra Perkins of Ogden, Utah, Darla (Dick) Bernhard of Swan Valley, Idaho, Vicki (Dino) Pasqua of Layton, Utah, Cindy (Rick) Watterson, of Omaha, Nebraska, Monte Hedstrom of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kelly (Geraldo) Garnica of Washington State; and her four step-children; Doug (Angie) Frazier of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, Teri (Rusty Welch) of Pocatello, Idaho, Jerre Lea (David Wise) of Pocatello, Idaho, and Lloyd (Noelle) Frazier of Boise, Idaho. She had 1-plus grandchildren and 5-plus great- grandchildren. She also is survived by her three brothers; Ray (Leona) Kelly of Sparks, Nevada, Richard Kelly of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Lloyd Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada, her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Kelly of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lynda (Richard) Forcella of Sydney, Montana, Mary Ann (Bill) Peck of Whitehall, Montana, Bonnie Frazier of Whitehall, Montana, Patricia (Allen) Sorenson of Las Vegas, Nevada. and her three beloved dogs, Tazzie Mae, Scooter, and Sarge.
Loa was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Thelma Kelly, her step-mother; Gwen Kelly, her mother and father-in-law, Bun and Marry Patterson, her father-in-law Al Frazier, and her grandson; Shane Hermanson.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the LDS Church in Lima for visitation. Funeral services will be held at the Lima LDS Church at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at the Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaverhead County Animal Shelter.
