Peggy Teeples Obituary

Peggy Teeples, age 85, of Pingree Idaho passed away December 5th, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life.

Peggy was born September 1st, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the oldest of four daughters of Pat & Jay Fullmer. She was a proud graduate of West High School

She married Ron Teeples on April 22nd 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah and they had two sons - Michael & Gordon

Peggy enjoyed several jobs throughout her life - secretary / admin, seamstress, lunch worker at schools, home maker, farm wife, caregiver

She enjoyed serving in a variety of callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including providing the bread for the Sacrament for the past 15+ years. (Thank you Grandma Sycamore!)

Peggy & Ronnie moved from Salt Lake City, Utah to Pingree, Idaho in 1978. She and Ronnie along with their sons Michael & Gordon enjoyed the 80 acre farm and raised a variety of animals. Many of the animals that needed fostering found themselves in the care of Peggy. The animals that needed special care seemed attracted to her love and care.

After Gordon tragically passed away in a car accident on April 25th, 1982 Peggy, Ronnie and Michael worked to be sealed as a family in the Idaho Falls Temple on 22nd of June 1982. Peggy and Ron enjoyed working in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Peggy was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She provided end-of-life care for several friends and family members. Her friendship, love and compassion will be missed by her many friends and family - grandsons, nieces and nephews and especially her "family" at Martha's Café in Blackfoot, Idaho. She provided care for Ronnie in the last years of his life as he suffered from Alzheimer's. Their family at Martha's brought them great comfort and friendship.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents Jay & Violet "Pat" Fullmer and son Gordon.

She is survived by her sisters Joyce DeLaMare (Winter), Carla Fullmer, Jaylynn Rice (Jay), her son Michael (Beth) and their six boys: Jeromy (Cielo), Alex, Dylan, Matthew, Joshua (Jenny) and Samuel, two great grandsons - Octavius and Ronan and a great granddaughter - Lyla

Peggy was very appreciative of the kind help she and Ronnie received from their neighbors, Lakeview Ward members and their Martha's family. As her family, we thank you all for you kindness and love!

Services will be held at a viewing Friday December 13th at the Hawker Funeral Home (132 S Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, ID 83221) 6pm to 8pm. A viewing will also be held Saturday December 14th at 12pm at the Lakeview Ward building with the funeral at 1pm. Interment will be at the Springfield Cemetery next to Ronnie and Gordon.

The LDS Lakeview Ward address is: 800 S 2120 W Springfield, Idaho.

Peggy was meticulous in doing her work in the scalehouse at the JR Simplot Company in Aberdeen. It was a pleasure to visit with her and have her as an employee in my department. She was very very kind thoughtful and full of energy. Qualities that I know we will all miss along with her family. My sincere condolences to the family.

I knew Peggy through her husband Ron who worked at the Naval Reactors Facility. She was a very generous lady and great cook as evidenced by the large platters of delicious baklava that she used to send with Ron to be enjoyed by our crew at Christmas time. I am sure that she will be greatly missed.
