Randy Ellis Parish
Randy Ellis Parish, 59, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 26, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
Randy was born on August 17, 1956 in Burley, Idaho to Boyd & Hilda Parish. Randy was the 4th born out of 5 children.
Randy loved fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Randy grew up in Burley and there he met the love of his life, Nina Gail Wilson. They were married December 12, 1984 and blessed with 2 children.
Randy then achieved his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Idaho State University. He worked as a licensed social worker until his first diagnosis with cancer.
One of Randy's favorite activities was spending time with his 2 grandson's, Cam Miller and Austin Parish.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nina Parish; mother, Hilda Parish; and brother, Rod Parish. He is survived by his son, Chris Parish (Kim Parish); his daughter, Jennifer Miller (Steve Miller); his grandson's, Cam Miller and Austin Parish; his father, Boyd Parish; and siblings, Ron Parish, Valerie Furniss and Vicki Clifford.
The family would like to thank his daughter, Jennifer Miller for taking such great care of him during his long battle with cancer. Also, the family would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Cree and his nurse, Stephanie for their exceptional compassion, dedication and care.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to help with funeral costs and medical expenses.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11 am at the Inkom Cemetery.
All friends and family are welcome to help celebrate Randy's life.

Dad,
You were the best dad a son could ask for. You taught me so much I don't even know where to start. It makes me smile to picture you and mom together again. Jen and I know you will be watching over us and we will continue to try and make you proud. I love you and have missed you since the moment you passed.
