Robert Bohney Obituary

Robert 'Bob' John Bohney
POCATELLO - Robert John (Bob) Bohney, son of John and Barbara (Pinkerton) Bohney, passed away April 30, 2009.
Bob was born June 2, 1966, in Seattle, Washington. He attended Chubbuck, Hawthorne and Highland High School, graduating in 1984. He also attended ISU for two years.
He was very athletic and had a great passion for football. In earlier years Bob liked nothing better than to go deer and bird hunting with his dad and dog, Corky.
Bob was employed by the City of Chubbuck, Pocatello Aviation Center and the City of Pocatello at the airport until injuries forced him to retire. He recently completed a course to become a personal fitness trainer and nutritional specialist.
Survivors include his parents (John and Barbara); sister, Jill (husband Roger Adams); and nephews Alex and Garrett; close companion, Traci Martin; plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per his request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life and a time to meet with family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho.

Bob was funny and enjoyable to be around during junior high. Approx. 10 years later I ran into him at the airport, and he was just the same. Nice, friendly, funny, and enjoyable.
I'm so sorry for the (premature) loss of your son.
