Tasha Rodriguez was born to Janice and Rosendo Medrano, on July 16, 1977 at the Bannock Memorial Hospital in Pocatello, Idaho. Where she lived the beginning of her life with her grandmother, MaryAnn Fitzgerald. She attended schooling in Pocatello, and graduated from Highland High School in 1995. After graduation she went into beauty school and graduated a year later, working at JCPennys. In 1998 she married Robert Rodriguez and gave birth to two children; Aurora, and Antonio Rodriguez. Later adopting three boys; Jeremy, Tommy, and Franky Rodriguez. Tasha's greatest treasure was taking care of her children and making sure they had what they needed, to succeed in life.

Tasha was a former teacher for two schools in Pocatello; Grace Lutheran where she started off her career teaching sixth grade and Pre school. A couple years later she transferred to Gem Prep Academy, where she taught fifth and sixth grade. In 2022 she moved to Toledo Oregon where she continued her career teaching sixth grade and coached for their volleyball team at Toledo elementary up until this year transferring to Siletz Valley School. After a couple of months on October 4th, 2025 she fell victim to a homicide, by her husband in front of her home. Her Celebration of life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, on November 15th, at 11:00am in Pocatello.
