One of the best men I've ever known...and a phenomenal home teaching companion these past 3 years. My only regret is that I did not get by to see him one last time.

Tom was a gentleman of the highest order. He truly exemplified grace under pressure and was at his best in tough moments. He was universally respected in the legal profession and was a role model to many. My thoughts and prayers with his family.

Allene and I were shocked and saddened to her of Tom's passing. We had no idea he had been ill. I will forever be grateful to Tom for his kindness in hiring me to work for him and Jay and Bingham county. He was a great mentor and I learned so much from him in my 10 years with his practice. I have no doubt but that my selection as a judge was due to his influence and reputation throughout eastern Idaho. He not only taught me about the law but about how one should live his life. He and Bonnie were so kind to Allene and I. Not only was he a great attorney and prosecutor but a wonderful baseball coach and was instrumental in my interest in that wonderful game. We remember with fondness the community plays in was in. We will forever be grateful for his influence in our and our family's lives. We wish his family the best. Thanks Tom. Colin and Allene Luke

In a life full of impressive achievements, one legacy that can't be overlooked is what you truly meant to generations of kids who grew up in Blackfoot.
Coach, you taught me to play hard -- but fair, to dedicate myself to getting better through practice, and that a "hard truth" has more care underlying it than passive praise does... You genuinely cared about us, and your legacy now lives on through the kids we teach those same lessons to.
While it's impossible to NOT feel pain over your passing (and our sympathies do go out to the family), you've truly lived a life worthy of celebration.

Tom was a talented attorney and a faithful public servant. I distinctly remember him speaking to my elementary school class about his career as a prosecutor. He inspired me to consider the same career. He will be missed by all of us at the U.S. Attorney's Office.

It is with sincere sympathy that I send my regards to the family of dear Thomas. My husband was an officer for 36 years and always enjoyed having anything to do with dear Tom. I have since lost him also, and I know the pain of the loss.
Please know, your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad and difficult time.
Sincerely,
Susan Goodman

Tom Moss was a great man and dear friend. He was genuinely kind and caring, and considerate of all. Very talented speaker, lawyer and devoted public servant. A great example of how life should be lived.
