William Ekstrom Obituary
William Grant Ekstrom, known affectionately as "Bill," passed away at the age of 68 on March 18th, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 6th, 1955, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Grant and Edna Ekstrom. William leaves behind a legacy of strength, integrity, and love that touched the lives of all who knew him.
William was a man of many talents and passions. He was a master field mechanic, showcasing expertise and skill in his craft that earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. Additionally, he was an avid long-distance marksman, displaying precision and dedication in every shot he took. His love for the outdoors and cowboy lifestyle added a colorful dimension to his character.
Beyond his accomplishments, William will be remembered for his enormous heart and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories for his sons, Cade and Conner, mother of his children Julie, his mother Edna, his brother Scott, and his sisters Ann, Karen, and Michelle.
William Grant Ekstrom was a pillar of strength-a mountain of unwavering support, wisdom, and kindness. His warm presence and sage advice were beacons of comfort and guidance for many, and his legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all those fortunate enough to know him.
A private family service will be held to honor William's remarkable life and enduring legacy, commemorating the profound impact he had on the lives of those around him.
