Ben was a quiet, gentle man who loved his family, his country, and the great outdoors. I felt privileged to meet and know him as he and his brothers meant so much to my mother, Virginia Pulliam Irwin.

Uncle Ben Pulliam was a remarkable man of many interests...he loved family, the outdoors, photography, and music, to name only a few. His visits back to this part of the country were a joy to all of his family, and his newsy and interesting letters between visits were a treasure. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

Uncle Ben was an amazing person and a wonderful uncle. He was always so good to all of us and appreciated the times we could get together at reunions and family gatherings. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He always kept up with what was going on in the world and was especially concerned about our country. We loved him and will miss him very much.
