Craig Wells Obituary

Craig Wells
January 27, 1965 - December 12, 2020
Nampa, Idaho - Our world was turned upside down on the morning of 12 Dec 2020. The life of the party, Craig Alexander Wells left us. We have a hole in our heart that will not be healed.
Craig was born on 27 Jan 1965 to Bud and Niki (Rader) Wells in Boise, Id into a close and loving family that included his sisters Kim and Amy that he loved dearly and cared about and protected until his last days. Craig joined a gang of Wells cousins that included Ronette, Kelly, Greg, Boone, Joey, Zak & Emily. The Wells cousins' stories of mischief and fun times will last for generations.
Craig's youth was spent in Boise, Idaho Falls, and Bellevue, Washington. But make no mistake, Craig Wells was an Idaho man through and through. He had a passion for anything outdoors. Craig loved hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, and golf.
Our family has been humbled by the outpouring of love and sympathy we have received from Craig's many personal and professional friends. Craig enjoyed ten wonderful years with Stein Distributing, where he made many life-long friends. At the time of his passing Craig was employed by Norco as safety manager. Craig was passionate about his work at Norco and took great pride in the many personal and professional relationships he had. With a sales region that included WA, OR, ID, WY, UT, and NV Craig literally made friends everywhere he traveled.
Anyone who knew Craig had a friend that they could count on without question. Craig was the guy who showed up in the early hours of the morning or on a rainy day to help family and friends with their projects. Craig would always sacrifice his own comfort to ensure a friend was taken care of.
Without a doubt, Craig's greatest source of pride were his sons, Brandon and Cameron. Craig would do anything for his boys. He would proudly share with the family Brandon's adventures with the Air Force in Africa or Cameron's exploits in the Gym or on the sides of his fishing bank.
Craig is survived by his sons Brandon (Steph) and Cameron, parents Bud and Niki, sisters Kim (Eric) Murray and Amy (Josh) Anderson, and many nieces and nephews that are really going to miss their uncle Craig.
Per his wishes, Craig will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread upon his favorite hunting area near Kooskia, ID by his dad, boys, and hunting buddy Bill Mooney.
Due to COVID -19 restrictions, a celebration of Craig's life will be planned for the summer of 2021, and all his friends and family will be invited.
In honor of Craig, we ask that you hug a loved one, tell a friend you love them, or reach out to someone who needs your help.
The Wells family finds peace with Craig's passing in 2 Timothy 4:7; "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
'Till we meet again, Craig…

Mr. Wells and family,

You’ve raised some wonderful men. And undoubtedly an amazing family. I’ve had the pleasure of working along side your son Brandon for over five years now. Everyday is filled with enjoyment, laughter, learning and love. He’s obviously a product of you and your family. He’s is always there when you need him. And I can assure you, his friends will always be there for him.

My thoughts are with you all during these difficult times.

Craig was a great guy. I always enjoyed my time with him whether it was coordinating safety for a community or company. Craig always came with a shining attitude and willing to support regional safety events. He was very knowledgeable in safety equipment and requirements, we truly lost a remarkable man in my opinion. Praying his sons find peace in the loss of their father.
