David Cofield Obituary

David H. Cofield
1933 ~ 2014
Died at age 81 in Pasco, WA. January 22, 2014
(More information at www.lifetributescenter.com)
Dave was born and raised in Idaho, graduated from Emmett High School, and served four years in the USAF. He married the love of his life, Patty Coddington in 1950, and they had 63 wonderful years together. While attending college at University of Idaho in Moscow ID, where he earned his Engineering degree, the Cofield's had their children: Patricia Cofield, Michael Cofield (deceased), Monty Cofield and later adopted baby Tina Cofield.
Dave started his career as an electrical engineer for Hugh's Aircraft Company in California and then spent 24 years with the Boeing Company, retiring in 1992. He really enjoyed his career and all the people he worked with at Boeing.
Dave enjoyed traveling, sightseeing and adventure. Between, travel for work, moving households and seeing all the sights wherever they roamed, the Cofield's never let any grass grow under their feet. We always said Dad had "gypsy blood".
Dave leaves behind a long line of Cofield's; three children, ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Dave was always there if you needed him and leaves a multitude of friends. If you knew Dave you were a better person for it!
