David Mitchell Obituary
October 8, 1931 to December 30, 2018
David Burns Mitchell born in Baker City, Oregon on October 8, 1931 has joined his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 30, 2018 peacefully at his home.
David graduated from Baker City High School in May of 1949 and joined the US Army as a paratrooper that same year. He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sargent in November of 1953.
He was married to Myrna Jean Johnson on July 24, 1956, they had two children.
He was preceded in death by all his sibling but one and his loving wife Myrna.
He was survived by his children Rick Duane Mitchell, husband of Kirstine Mitchell, Greg David Mitchell, husband of Tonya Ann Mitchell, Grandson Tony Dawson Mitchell and his brother Claire Mitchell.
Service will be held at Engage Boise Church at 270 E. Pennsylvania Street, Boise, Idaho 83706 on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12:00pm.
Donations to Wounded Warrior Project in lieu of flowers.
