Dora Lucille Hebert

Dora Lucille Hebert 91, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away January 7th, 2010, at home, with family by her side. She was born October 16th, 1918, in Emmett. As a young girl she ventured to and from Kansas many times where she met her to be husband, James Glen Hebert Sr. They married October 6th, 1934. They built their life in Emmett where they raised their four children. She worked for Simplot for 15 years as head cook. Dora loved spending the summers in Donnelly at her property or working in her garden and yard. She also loved to travel with her long time friend Bob Brizendine. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and long time friend. She is survived by her son James Hebert Jr. (Julia) of Redondo Beach, California, daughters Kaylene Walters (Jim) of McMinnville, Oregon, Geraldine Pattan (Ray) of Emmett, and Carol Nielsen (Kimber) of Emmett; sisters, Violet Keene of Emmett, Betty Fackler of Emmett and a brother, Boots Rolland of Emmett. She had 14 grandchildren and numerous great grand children and great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to Zoo Boise, or Girl Scouts of the Silver Sage Council. The family wishes to sincerely thank the Horizon Home Health Care and Hospice. Viewing will be Friday, January 15th from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. The procession will leave the Potter Funeral Chapel at 10:45 for services at the Emmett Cemetery.
