Eileen Eide

Eileen Eide 1952 - 2011 Eileen Eide, 59, of Boise, passed away April 21, 2011 at a local hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale Rd., Boise. A committal service will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery. Eileen was born on March 22, 1952 in Boise, Idaho to Elmer and Elizabeth "Betty" Eide, and was her family's golden-haired girl. She loved to play with her sisters, cousins and friends. When it came time to go to school, friends were her favorite part. She graduated from Borah High School in 1970, and was employed by both St. Luke's and Blue Cross for several years. About four years ago, Eileen went to live at Ashley Manor in Boise, and they became her second family. She loved to color and take long walks. Her favorite hobby was shopping, and she has been known to close down the mall many times. Her shoe collection would rival that of any small store. The best day of her life was the day she gave her life to Jesus. As she peacefully left us, through the eyes of faith we could see her going to be with Him in Heaven. Eileen is survived by her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Eide; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen (Bob) Cook, Sonja Lamm, all of Boise, Idaho and Linda (Rich) Schaffer of Parma, Idaho; 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
