Gregory Michael Yearsley

Gregory Michael Yearsley, 32, a resident of Meridian, passed away November 16, 2009. Greg was born November 10, 1977 to Gerald and Kandace Yearsley in Boise, ID. He loved motocross racing, and would spend his weekends at Owyhee Motorcycle Club. In 1987 he and his family moved to California where Greg continued racing motorcycles until age 16 when he suffered major injuries in a motocross accident. In 1996 Greg graduated from Central High School in Barstow, CA. In 2001 Greg moved back to Boise And attended Boise State University. He went on to meet the love of his life, Heather Jeffs and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. They are the parents of 5 children. Survivors include his wife Heather; their children, Jacob, Breeanna, Kiara, Tristynn and Trinitee; his mother Kandace Yearsley of Boise; father Gerald (Pam) Yearsley of Yermo, CA; his sister and brother-in-law Kim (Jake) Jenkins of Helena, MT; grandparents Lorren & Eve Davis of Meridian, ID and Selma Yearsley of Salt Lake City, UT, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Earl Yearsley. Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3775 E Ustick Rd Boise, ID 83646. There will be a viewing on Monday, beginning one hour prior to service time at the church. He will be laid to rest at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, ID. Arrangements are by Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel, Meridian. A memorial fund has been established at Key Bank and donations can be made in Greg's name.
