Karen was a force of nature. As cousins, we spent many weekends together at our grandmother's house with her brother, Dale. She was always in charge and loved to laugh when she'd tease us about the ghost in the attic. As an adult, she took pride in serving her country and family. She remained a child at heart and embraced the children in our family with over the top entertainment; Oscar parties, amusement parks and sleepover bashes. May she rest peacefully and not play jokes on us :). My sincere condolences to her devoted husband, Cliff.

Karen was my beautiful, kind and spirited cousin. I loved her like a sister. Her love for her husband, Cliff, was unwavering. I will miss her terribly.
