Margaret was a mentor and mother figure for me when I was young. She taught me so many things that I have found invaluable during my adult life. She taught me the simple everyday things such as cooking, making gravies and pies, canning, gardening and balancing a growing baby while getting my college degree.

Margaret imbued me with the overall importance of women and their contribution to society at large. She was strong and independent with a " can do" attitude. She dealt with major catastrophies as well as the myriad and mundane details of everyday life with grace and poise. She taught me that true freedom comes from the power to be responsible for yourself as an individual. She was a role model of modern feminitity who had a love of the arts, philosophy and science plus the ability to handle business negotiations with ease and a "no nonsense" style. She charted the stock market, took university classes and kept commited to personal growth. She made her way with calm assurance without fear during a time when this was unfashionable amongst most of her peers.

I'll always thank her and remember her for giving me these valuable skills and lessons in life. I'll miss her presence in the world but I'll celebrate her long and productive life and bid her a fond farewell. May loving memories of Margaret sustain us all during this time of loss.

Margaret Morgal as I knew her was a silent strong willed woman and very much A Lady. It was a rare opportunity in life to have her as a mentor. She and I worked at the U together for almost 5 years. Margaret was also the very proud mother and grandmother. We enjoyed the stories of you all. Please find comfort in your memories.

We met lovely Margaret and Boris on a cruise to Hawaii a few years ago. They were our tablemates for dinner each evening and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Even though we never saw them after that, we always rememered what a charming couple they were. Our sympathies are with the family at this time.
