Roberta Lois Crisp

ROBERTA LOIS CRISP Jan. 24, 1917 June 7, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, on June 7, 2012 at the Life care Center of Boise, Idaho. Roberta is survived by her daughter, Elaine [Roy] Johnson of Penticton, B.C. Canada, son Don [Jean] Crisp of Livermore, California, her brother Bill [Opal] Leaper of Boise, Idaho. Grandchildren, Michelle [Scott] Dahle of Palos Verdes, California, John [Susan] Spencer of West Kelowna, B.C. Canada., Don Crisp, New York, Dan Crisp California and Jon Crisp, New York. Six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Roberta was born Jan.24,1917 in Fairfield, Idaho, the daughter of Robert and Malisa Leaper. She was raised and graduated from high school here. Later the family moved to Castleford, Idaho and met and married Claude Crisp in Buhl, Idaho where they farmed, later moving into town. In 1953 they moved to Nyssa, Oregon and then to Ontario, Oregon. Roberta enjoyed being secretary of schools in Nyssa, and also secretary at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Roberta and Claude loved fishing, camping, rock collecting and playing cards, especially bridge. Roberta was predeceased by her husband, Claude, sisters, Lillian, Edna, Vera, Ruth, and brothers, Bob and Floyd. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Four Rivers Cultural Center for the Japanese Gardens in Ontario, Oregon will be appreciated. No service requested.
