Ronald Diggs Obituary

Ronald Glenn Diggs 1950 - 2011 Ronald Glenn Diggs, born July 3, 1950 in Boise Idaho passed away August 15, 2011. Ron worked as a long haul truck driver for many years before getting a job with Capital Paving so he could be home with his family more. Later he went to work for CPC in Boise, then Flying J where he loved his work and responsibilities. He moved on to Thermo Fluids (Nampa) in 2007. In July 2008, he and his family bought their dream home in Sandhollow. Soon after, he was offered a promotion as Operations Manager for Thermo Fluide in Gillette, Wyoming. At a great personal sacrifice he moved over 800 miles from his home and loved ones. Everyone who met our Diggs loved him. He was outgoing, charismatic, a wonderful provider and a kid at heart. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, reading and just being at home. Above all else, his greatest joy was spending time with his family from vacationing in South Dakota, playing baseball with his daughter Raegan, fighting for the last bite of potato salad with his daughter Sydney or just relaxing around the fire pit. He cherished every moment he got to be home with his family. While in Gillette, Ron spent his free time with his dog Rosie and enjoyed the company of Chuck and Mary Jones as well as his co-worker Cody. I love you to the moon and back a million kagillion times. I love you so much it would take forever to explain, more than you will ever know. Love, Raegan. I want you to know my love that you are my rock, my world, my everything. Thank you for being the same everyday; you are an amazing father to our daughters. I can't imagine my life without you honey. I am so scared but I know you will always be with me in my heart No Matter. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Georgia Katharine Alfred, father Peewee, and Grandma. He is survived by his wife Ronda Ralls-Diggs, 2 daughters, Raegan Ralls-Diggs and Sydney Douthit, her husband Joseph Douthit, their son Skyler and a soon to be born grand-daughter. Also both his mother and father-in-law Irene Ralls and Ron Ralls Sr., brother David Diggs of North Fort Meyer, Florida and his little dog Rosie. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. If you want to send prayers and cards or to donate to our daughters college fund you can mail them to the family at 17149 Oasis Road Caldwell, ID 83607.

Ron was a great guy to be around. In the short year that I got to work with him, he always had a smile, a positive outlook, and a loving story about his family. He will be missed.

It has been my pleasure to have worked with Ron and watch him excel in his capacity. We have lost a great person who always provided top quality workmanship and was wonderfully reliable. Ron always wore a smile and talked often of his family. I will forever remember Ron for his positive demeanor.

Ron was one of the best. He was easy and fun to work with. He may have been in Gillette and I may have been in Denver, but we always had fun talking about not just work but about riding motorcycles and going on runs and we would talk about our kids' and how we both started over again and loved it. I will miss my Ron Diggs, but I will never forget him. To Mrs. Diggs and the girls', I do wish you lots of prayers and you and your family will always be in my heart.
