Boise, Idaho - Stella Frances Ramsey was born on December 25, 1921, in Walla Walla, WA. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School as Student Body President. She attended Walla Walla Business College. Upon graduation, she accepted an invitation to work at Walla Walla Meat and Cold Storage Company. On November 23, 1941, she married Jack Ramsey at St. Frances Church in Walla Walla. They were married for 63 years.
Stella and Jack lived in many places, and she enjoyed cooking for branding crews and hired men and keeping up the house and yard. She was known for her baking and especially for her sticky buns and pecan pies. In 2000, they moved to Boise, ID. After Jack's death in 2004, Stella remained in Boise. Living near her sister, they enjoyed many, many trips together. Stella was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed her neighbors and playing bridge.
Stella will be laid to rest at Forest Grove Cemetery in Tenino, WA. relyeafuneralchapel.com
