The world has lost a wonderful human being and I have lost a sincere friend. His smile was infectious and lit up a room creating an atmosphere that beamed positivity. Steve had a sense of adventure that was unparalleled. He loved to travel and I was envious of his zest and enthusiasm for the outdoors - especially his love of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping... . Where I saw Steve at his best was on the squash court. Steve was a student of the game and a very skillful squash player - one of the best in the state of Idaho. I will miss being run around the court by Steve's deep rails and tight drop shots. Steve, I speak for myself and the entire squash community in Idaho when I say "We love you buddy and your spirit will continue to inspire us each time we step on the court!"
