Teri "Nena" Owsley
February 18, 1956 - March 15, 2021
Eagle, Idaho - Teri "Nena" Lee Owsley, 65, passed away this Monday, March 15th, 2021, in her family home in Eagle, Idaho. Nena was born Saturday February 18th, 1956 to her parents Iris Morris and Leonard Scott in Ely, Nevada. She graduated from Borah High School of Boise, Idaho in 1974. Through her adulthood, she married and then raised a family while continuing to work.
Nena is survived by husband Rick Owsley, daughters Paula Ramos and Michelle Gage, grandchildren Lexi, Avery, Adriana, 3 step-children, and 9 other grandchildren. She is preceded in death by mother Iris, father Leonard, 3 brothers, daughter Angie, son Spencer, and her dog Abby.
While she was a devoted grandmother in life, her family knew she was too special to just be grandma, thus leading to the nickname "Nena." Her passion and dedication went towards her family, never turning away anyone who needed her. She enjoyed collecting tiny jars to store her memories in. Along with the collection of jars, she was an avid puzzle completer who would turn her puzzles into wall art. Until the end, her amazing personality and eccentric sense of humor made the world feel a little brighter.
And to close, a quote from one of her favorite characters, Eeyore, "It will be kind of gloomy without you. That's what happens when the sunshine goes away"
