Tommy Pritchett Obituary

Tommy V. Pritchett
1947 - 2015
Tommy Vernett Pritchett passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 while traveling as part of his retirement with his wife Victoria. He died after a short battle with an aggressive form of cancer, and exited peacefully in Palm Springs, California. Tommy will be missed by those he encountered, and will be mourned by everyone lucky enough to call him a friend. In celebration of his wonderful life, his family will host a public memorial gathering in Palouse, Washington. Arrangements are being made by the Palouse Caboose Bar and Grill, as well as his children, Aaron and Sara. The tentative date is set for September 13, 2015. The memorial will be a festive event in his honor, filled with music and laughter. His many musical comrades are encouraged to bring instruments and join in making a joyful noise.
Tommy was born January 19, 1947 in Riverside, California to Henry and Isabelle Pritchett. He enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Victoria C. Smith, on July 1, 1977. He raised two beautiful children, Aaron V. Pritchett, and Sara B. Pritchett. Tommy lived his life as a family man, and will be remembered as a wonderful husband and father.
Tommy was an excellent musician and loved music. He played several instruments and knew hundreds of songs. Tommy will be remembered for his kindness and honesty. He was a genuine person who fostered loving relationships with everyone he encountered. Tommy's charisma and wit were one of a kind and he will be missed greatly.
