Virginia Eilers

Virginia Eilers 1914-2011 Laura Virginia Eilers a 96 year old Rupert resident passed away August 12, 2011 at Country Side Care in Rupert. Virginia was born September 30, 1914 in Farmington, Washington the daughter of Clarence and Bessie Stemm. She attended schools in Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School. She married Jake Eilers October 27, 1946 in Farmington Washington, shortly after their marriage they moved to Rupert. She was a member of the Rupert United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Rupert Grange. Virginia enjoyed flowers, and having a big garden each year. Virginia is survived by her son, Warren ( Becky) Eilers; grandchildren, Wesley (Paula) Eilers and Mathew (Stephanie) Eilers; Roxanne (Darren) Stevens; great grand children Jason Stevens , Micheal, Preston, Donovan Eilers; Steffanie, Katlyn, Breeanna Eilers, and Courtney and Erin Stevens. She was preceded in death by his husband, Jake Eilers and two sons, Wayne Eilers Marlon Eilers; two sisters; and her parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Rupert United Methodist Church, 605 H St. with Pastor Pam Meese, officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Hansen Mortuary Rupert Chapel, 710 6th St. and for one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Funeral services will conclude at the Rupert Cemetery.
