Weston Bailey Obituary

Weston Bailey
22
Weston R. Bailey, 22, of Kuna, ID, departed us suddenly on May 4th, 2017 due to injuries sustained in a tragic auto accident. He was born May 25, 1994, in Lava Hot Springs, ID, to loving parents, Dean and Jenna Bailey. As the baby in the family, he enjoyed the attention and teasing from his two affectionate and doting sisters, Samantha and Meleah. He also looked forward to visits with his half-brother, Michael, whom he admired. Weston felt fortunate to have grown up in Lava with his loving family. During his early teen years, he moved to Pocatello, ID, and after the devastating loss of his mother, he moved with his father to Fresno, CA. In 2012, he graduated from Clovis High School. In 2014, he moved again with his father and best friend, Dean, to live with his new stepmom, Vikki, who loved him like her own. He was so proud to have graduated from Lineman College and was on the verge of accepting a career job when his young life was tragically cut short.
Weston was an old soul and a gift to all who knew him. He was genuine, loving, kind, gentle, respectful, thoughtful, articulate and engaging. For those fortunate enough to have known him, he expressed friendship and love openly, with lots of hugs. He loved his family dearly and the close community of friends that he naturally developed wherever he went. He loved all genres of music, concerts, documentaries, cooking, baking and his dogs. He also loved being outdoors any time he could. He was a runner and he loved hiking, camping, and playing frisbee golf with friends. He worked most recently for Space Age Movers, where he made friends easily and was appreciated for his hard work and respectful attitude. He had a heartfelt smile for everyone and an irresistible laugh. He will be missed by all of us, more than words can ever express.
He is survived by his parents, Dean Bailey and Vikki Hofhine-Bailey, his sister, Samantha Spencer (Josh Spencer) of Pocatello, his sister Meleah Bailey (Mack Larkin) of Spokane, his half-brother, Michael Bailey (Cindy Huang) of Seattle, his beloved niece and nephews; Gavin Spencer, Diem Spencer, and Dash Spencer, as well as his grandparents; Nick and Janiel Nickerson of Nampa, Dale and Gay Hofhine of Pocatello, Harvey and Virginia Bailey of Conway, AR, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his adoring mother, Jenna (Guinn) Bailey, his grandmother, Margaret Guinn, and his cousins, Jaylene Guinn, Eric Bauman, and Jonathon Stanton.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, May 28th at 3pm at Church of the Rock, located at 903 6th St N, Nampa, ID, 83687, followed by a celebration of his life at 9900 Aztlan Rd, Nampa, ID 83686.

Wes was the person I started playing frisbee golf with. Throwing discs isn't the same without him. Wes made me a better player and without him I can't enjoy the game anymore.
I miss his positivity and willingness to help. He was always the one to climb a tree or jump in the creek to retrieve a disc. That was the person he was, he wanted to help.
Happy birthday buddy! I love you and miss you so much. I am not sure he realized the positive impact he had on everybody's life he touched.
May angels lead you in.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one and my deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

Weston was such a sweet little boy, who was so shy when I first met him and his sister Meleah. Weston played with Cameron every day in lava Hot Springs, they spent hours building a pool near the river. Took dance together with the girls, explored, laughed and played.
I love you Wes, My heart aches. You will be missed so much.
Your mom will be happy to see you again.
My love to Dean, Sam,Meleah
Love, Charlee
