William Earl Neely

He is survived by his wife Felicia, daughter Autumn, parents Ken and Nancy, and siblings Ben, Ian, and Rachel.
Funeral services will be performed at Discovery Church (1177 N. Roosevelt St.) on Friday, August 22 at 11:00am.

I am so heartbroken over Wills passing. I know how friends and family feel as I lost my brother the same way. As one looses their fight with cancer, we lost them to their illness. Will and all his siblings worked for me at Cafe Shakespeare. He was a light in the world. He was a pleasure to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with the Neely family and Felicia and baby. Felicia, Val n Craig n the Neely family, we r so sorry for your loss. I had only met Will one time at a family gathering. I know if Felicia and the Lunsford family loved him that he had 2 b an excetional young man. We pray for u all with all diligence. Losing a child no matter the age is the hardest thing a parent can go through. The only way you can get through this is the grace and strength of our Lord and Savior, Jesus The Christ. Thinking of you Neely family with love and hugs.

We saw Will grow from a pre-teen, when we first came to Crossroads Christian Church, to a handsome young man. He was beautiful. His story isn't over.

William saved my life when we were both in our early 20s. I pray that his family is able to remember his beautiful smile and unconditional love each day and that doing so can heal their hearts as much as is possible. His spirit will continue as a light for Christ.

I wish we got to know him better. I used to see him at church all of the time and he always had a smile on his face. Even when he would chat with us he was one of those people that could almost smile while talking. Will would always go out of his way to talk to my husband and I because we are shy and would usually be in the back of the church. I will be praying big time for his wife and daughter, they are all such awesome/nice people.

I worked with Will when he was a Lifeguard. He was easily one of the nicest and most compassionate people that I met in my time there. He brought happiness to so many people. My condolences to his friends and family. He was a wonderful person.

Due to his friendship with our daughter, Annie, Will spent a lot of time at our house during their high school and early college years. We loved the joy, thoughtfulness and smile he brought with him. He was always willing to dress up for Halloween parties or help out in any way at our get togethers. Will was a gentleman and a true friend. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He will be greatly missed, but will always live in our hearts. The Ball Family
