Carolyn Moses Obituary
age 85, of Canton, passed away June 11, 2015. She was born in Canton, Ohio Sept. 22, 1929, daughter to the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Fowler) Spencer. She retired from Frito-Lay and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, but nothing brought her more joy than her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Earl Dean Moses; son-in-law, Victor Lupu; 10 brothers; and six sisters. Survivors include her husband, Earl J. Moses with whom she would have celebrated 69 years of marriage in September; daughter, Karen S. Lupu; three grandchildren, Michelle Byers, Michael (Kelly) Lupu, Aaron (Jean) Moses; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Logan, Brooke, Brennen, Emmett; and daughter-in-law, Connie Moses. There are several nieces and nephews also surviving.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Rev. Tim Bancroft officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Crossroads Hospice, 3742, Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Green, Ohio 44685. Carolyn was at one time in the same room as my Mother at the Laurels Nursing Home. She was so kind and always so caring to my Mom.
