Juanita Muse Obituary

Juanita Muse
lovingly surrounded by her family, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Aug. 27, 2012, after a long and courageous battle.  She was born on Feb. 8, 1924 in Ailey, Ga. to the late Rev.  William Bennett and Mary Wilkens. She was the first born of six, two girls and four boys. Juanita attended school in Lyons, Ga.  She also attended a cosmetology school in Savannah, Gs.  In 1964, Juanita moved to Canton, Ohio. Juanita was a member of the Lucille Ester Chapter #14 OES for over 40 years.  She was the Associate Matron and was very active until her health began failing.  She was a hard worker and worked her entire life, having several different jobs. No matter the job, she always did her best and took pride in her work. Juanita was also a very loving and caring person. She loved to help others and never met a stranger. She was a generous person who never refused to help if she could. She enjoyed being able to meet  other people's needs and was a cheerful giver. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. William and Mary Bennett; brothers, Joseph Wesley, William and Robert Bennett.
She leaves to celebrate her life, faithful husband, Jeff Muse of 48 years; her children, Christine Knight, Canton, Ohio, Betty Martin (Wrentie), Florrisant, Mo., Larry Osteen, Ethel Osteen and Sharon Bridges, all of Canton, Ohio; her siblings, Katie Bridgest, Canton, Ohio, Eugene Bennett, Orlando, Fla., Mary Bennett, Canton, Ohio, Lily Bennett, Lyons, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, six sisters-in-law; one brother-in- law, and a multitude of friends.
Home going services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 3rd St. NE, Canton, OH  44704. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Pastor Anthony Robinson, Eulogist. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.

The Muse family--Brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, bless the life of our dear Juanita. We will always cherish the wonderful times we shared at family reunions and other family visits. Our memories of her as a beautiful and kind person will live on in our hearts forever. May all of her family be blessed with the peace, love, and comfort of God in the days ahead.
