Nollon Hatchett Obituary
age 83 of Canton, went Home to be with the Lord Wednesday Dec. 21, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Toney, Ala., son of the late John Dillard and Gracie (Bonner) Hatchett. He retired as an iron pourer with Canton Malleable Iron Company and was a deacon with Antioch Baptist Church until his ordination in the ministry July 30, 1978. Nollon served our country in the Ready Reserve and then transferred to the Army Reserves. He was an avid bowler.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Hatchett; five brothers, Willie Dee, James, John, David, and Joe Hatchett. He is survived by his children, Nollon Jr. of Canton, Dennis of Cincinatti, Angela of Canton and KeShaune of Cincinatti; step daughter, Regina Brown of Texas; step sons, Allen McDonald of Texas and Kevin Garner of Canton; grandchildren, Temica Weatherspoon, Gabriella Hatchett, Trevon Hatchett, Samia Hatchett, Dustin Kindle and Brandon Kindle all of Canton; sister, Mable (William) Fletcher, Marie (Raymond) Jamar, Loreen (Walter) Jones and Kathern Hatchett; brothers, Lorenzo Hatchett, Minister Houston (Brenda) Hatchett, Elder Ollie (Cleotha) Hatchett and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel, Elder Ollie Hatchett eulogizing. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m Friday at the funeral home.
