Sara Detweiler Obituary

Sara P. Detweiler
age 82, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born Dec. 21, 1932 in Baltic, Ohio to the late John and Arie (Miller) Miller. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was a gracious hostess enjoying company of family and friends. She attended Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joe J. Detweiler; children, Donald Detweiler, James Detweiler, Cheryl and Ralph McDonald, all of Hartville; grandchildren, Heath (Shila) Detweiler, Joshua (Annah) McDonald, Matthew McDonald; siblings, Mary Miller of Berlin; sister-in-law, Phyllis Miller of Winesburg; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Arlene (Roy) Gingerich of Uniontown, Martha (Elmer) Gingerich of North Canton, Hannah (Owen) Beachy of Hartville, Thomas (Nancy) Detweiler of Senecaville, Miriam (Murray) Yoder of South Carolina. Preceded in death by a brother, Dean Miller and brothers-in-law, David Jr. (Magdalena) and James Detweiler.
Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church. Funeral services are Wednesday 10 a.m. in the church with Eugene Sommers officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
